Best Animated Christmas Movies

During our childhood days, we didn't have Internet streaming and all. We use to sit with TV guide and schedule ourselves according to the TV schedule. Remember we all watched good old Animated movies during the Christmas holidays?. May be Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer or Frosty the Snow man! Those we great day isn't it?. So lets head back to old memories and make a list of Animated Christmas Movies.

1.Frosty the Snowman

Its one strange movie!. Its all about magic and Snow man turns into a real person by Magician cap and so on. Its a fantatic tale which kids would love to watch. One strange story on Snowman. 

2.Santa Claus Is comin to Town

Rankin /Bass created this movie and was a big hit for the niche Christmas specials. Even the Frosty the Snowmen and many more were produced and created by Rankin bass. Back in 1970 Santa Claus is coming to Town was released. This was a nice cartoon which narrated by Fred Astaire, explains the history of Santa. Describes why Santa goes down the Chimney to how reindeer can fly. It is one more nice movie to watch to learn how santa may have come.

3.Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer

This movie managed to become one of the well recognized song instead of a movie. The Rudolph the Red Nosed Reiendeer by Stop motion animation gave a differnt charm and nice change in the movie. Unique idea!.. This had become a world famous movie back then, so you defintely can give a try

4.Winnie the Pooh & Christmas Too (1991 Short Film)

Winnie the Pooh and Christmas too is a Christmas Television special by Disney television series. 

5.How the Grinch Stole Christmas

This is just a transition from the book to movie. Its not a great movie but you would enjoy watching it!. One time watch, one of the good movies in Animation.

7.Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas

Emmet Otter's Jug band Christmas is not so famous like the most in this list. Actually its not animation instead it is puppetry. But the movie is sweet and nice. You should watch it once!

One more old cartoon which everyone remembers. Back in 1993 The Nightmare Before Christmas was released. It was from Claymation flim from Tim Burton which was a combination of Halloween film with Christmas. It was not for a very small kid. Because it was bit complex to understand.

It was one of the best and creative animation work which was seen by 90s era. It was an unforgettable animation of old times. You can show this to your kids and have bit of fun.
